Message	would think it just has to do with this issue and a random build up heat due to sitting ..... Monitor the gauge the next few times driven -- if nothing turns up I'd forget about it. If there's an issue with a car -- it will usually show up a again pretty soon. PS - When was the last time the coolant thermostat was replaced? Knowing you - probably not that old but just checking?
